The Client
Schneider Electric is a €25 billion revenue business with 128,000 employees. They support missions and projects in over 90 countries globally. The company, which is recognized by Corporate Knights as the world’s most sustainable corporation, launched the Zero Carbon Project, a program to help its largest suppliers halve their CO2 emissions by 2025, this year and more than 1,000 suppliers have signed up to take part.
The Challenge
Schneider Electric is going through a restructure of its global supply chain business in Europe and is creating a Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Budapest Hungary. Schneider Electric operates two procurement centers in Europe, supporting the procurement activities of its 74 plants in 25 countries. In the Hungarian capital, a team of 150+ people is currently in charge of this task, with a total of around 6,000 suppliers.
Schneider Electric was looking for a partner that could deep dive into the local Hungarian market to find top tier supply chain talent. They approached Impel Talent to lead external efforts for key talent.
The Conclusion
