Terentia graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and has always pursued an active interest in continuing her professional development with further qualifications in project management and leadership training.
Creating an exciting career in Engineering, Terentia has worked successfully for large global and local brands including Johnson Matthey, the South African Sugar Association, Unilever and Johnson and Johnson. Her experience includes leading large-scale teams successfully through demanding engineering projects in line with global and regional strategic expectations, building high performing teams in highly pressurised environments and coaching and developing individuals to provide the best level of service within their role.
Terentia was the recipient of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star Award in 2019 and completed the Accelerated Women’s Leadership program designed for high potential talent at Johnson and Johnson. She is also a certified John C Maxwell Leadership Coach and Trainer.
Combining her experience in building and leading high performing cross functional and cross-cultural teams over the last 15 years with her passion for supporting emerging leaders to develop their emotional intelligence & critical soft skills to enhance their leadership potential, Terentia leads our Leadership Development programmes – Emerge and Evolve.
Hailed as a pioneer in the leadership space, her role at Impel Talent is critical in us succeeding in our mission to not only work with clients to recruit new talent but retain and develop existing talent too.
When not working in partnership with businesses to supercharge their workforce, Terentia is an expert baker with a passion for edible creations and plays the piano to unwind and relax.
