I am so happy to welcome our latest addition to the executive board, Greg McManus.
Greg has been with us for just under a year supporting our business as an external consultant. His insights and training provided an incredible avenue to help us support, motivate and elevate our senior team members,so that they could step up and drive the business forward. He provided an external ear to give us reflective feedback and at many times channelled our growth and mindset for the entire leadership team.
The reason we extended the invitation for Greg to join myself and Terentia on the executive board, was due to his absolute genuine approach to how he supported and interacted with our team members. For a long time, Greg felt like part of the team before we even discussed this opportunity with him. His interactions with our team members and alignment with our values and vision made the decision and transition natural. While his experience is incredibly valuable, it was the important interactions and energy that made the difference such as, a birthday card for a team member’s 30th, pushing and wanting to join the team at our end-of-quarter sales meetings and his genuine excitement to attend our shortlisted awards dinners.
Greg brings to Impel Talent over 30 years of proven success, in building and developing profitable businesses at Board and Owner level and attracting investment within market leading organisations servicing markets in UK, EMEA and Africa. His proven expertise in acquisitions, building and scaling start-ups, and restructuring SMEs, allows Impel to have the insight and support to really expand our growth. Not only has he led successful businesses to scaling and exits throughout his career within the driving seat of organisations but has provided key consulting to various businesses within his consultancy, GMA.
Greg’s appointment is a big milestone for Impel Talent, as we constantly look at ensuring our senior leadership have the right tools and support structure to drive the business forward.

When Greg isn’t changing the recruitment industry and supporting key leaders you can find him refereeing a local rugby match, supporting his own Sidcup RFC (I don’t hold that against him having played for years at Sidcup’s local rival, Sutton and Epsom RFC), or traveling to various corners of the world.
